Out for the Hunt, South African cycling re-designed.

Since October is Transport month in South Africa we have been keeping our eyes peeled for interesting developments on the movement front. Alternatives to South African one car one person mentality is desperately needed, as is locally designed as manufactured products, enter Hunter Cycling.

October 08, 2015 saw the launch of the new Hunter Cycling brand at the Kalashnikovv Gallery in Braamfontein.

The new brand, range and web is a result of a colab between Hunter cycling and Henn+Honeyball.

In today’s design world collaboration is the name of the game, no longer do designer just work in one field or in one ‘medium’, many will dabble in various fields and switch seamlessly between disciplines. Henn+Honeyball answered the brief to design and develop a complete identity for Hunter Cycling, to brand a range of high performance bicycles in a classic style, as well as to design an e-commerce store in a contemporary and true to South Africa way. They used the silhouette of the Wild Dog as the perfect mascot for Hunter.
