Compasso d’Oro design awards now also open to non-Italians
ADI – the Associazione per il Disegno Industriale presents the ADI Compasso d’Oro International Award. This is the first time that the Compasso d’Oro (established in 1954) offers the opportunity for non-Italian companies and designers to also participate in the award scheme.
The theme of the Award is Design for Food and Nutrition and the winning entries will be shown at the Milano Expo 2015. A special prize is reserved to young designers with prize money of € 30,000 which will be awarded to the best design created by students. Entries are open until 28 February 2015. Call for entries: A’ Design Awards
Entries for the A’ Design Awards close on 28 February 2015. The A’ Design Competition is one of the world’s most prestigious international juried design competitions. Since 2009 the competition has attracted more than 40 000 participants from 180 countries. The World Design Rankings, published by A' Design Award & Competitions, has become a resource for academics and media members to discuss creative developments in countries. Call for entries: TRNAVA POSTER TRIENNIAL 2015
Entries for the Trnava Poster Triennial 2015 (based in the Slovak Republic) close on 28 February 2015. Entries to this competition are free and span the following categories: Professional (individuals and teams), Student (fine arts academic students aged 18 and up), Advertising poster (designed for promotion and support of sales or services), Sociocultural poster (cultural, social or politically-motivated poster) and Freestyle category (personal or experimental poster).
